The international on-line training course on home composing was organized by Swiss Chinese Herbal Medicine and Functional Food Innovation Center (SwissHerbs, Zurich, Switzerland), Institute for agricultural and ecological research and consultation (Biophyt AG, Mellikon, Switzerland), mit-organized by Organic Recycling Research Institute (Suzhou) of China Agricultural University (ORICAU, Suzhou, China) and IFOAM Organic Asia (Suzhou, China) Training Center, which was held on August 15, 2021.

together with around 50 of researchers and students from ORICAU participated the online training lectures.
Prof. Ji Li gave the welcome speech and Dr. Qiyan Wang-Mueller hosted the rest training program.
Producing (micro-) biologically high-quality compost is a prerequisite to ensure its long-term value, without harming the environment but to enhance plant vigor and health. Since more than 30 years Dr. Jacques Fuchs has been an expert in composting technology in Switzerland. He gave the morning lectures on how to deal with waste, manage the home composting processes, use and store final compost products. Lecture finished by a video made by Dr. Fuchs. The video showed how to do home composting in detail, subtitles were translated into Chinese to allow the audience of Chinese understand more precisely.
The online house composting training course has not only introduced to audiences an environmental-friendly way on dealing with wastes for house compost users and gardeners, but it also further strengthened the relationship between China and Swiss bilateral on the collaboration of recycling farming as well.
